I love to take photos, always have always will. My father started my intrest in photography. He among other things was a professional photographer for a many years. He had a dark room in our basement and I helped him print the pictures he took. His favorite medium was Black and White and I must admit it's mine as well.

I find too often when we look at color photos we spend more time being enthralled with the colors than we are with the actual subject of the picture and the subtlties of texture, light and contrast.

I do take color photos, mostly digital now, but I still do my fair share of B/W photos as well.

I created this blog to post pictures I have created but also pictures of my family and friends, from various sources, for them to enjoy.
